Loving Our City, Because Jesus First Loved Us
At New City Fellowship, our heart for our city and the neighborhoods around, flows directly from the gospel. We believe Jesus does not just make us new. He sends us out to live new. As people who have been met by grace, renewed by Christ, and welcomed into God’s family, we are compelled to move toward the needs of our city with compassion and hope. Our mission is to make disciples who are made new by Jesus and live new for Jesus. That means we do not overlook pain, ignore injustice, or wait for people to have it all together before we care. We want to see people the way Jesus sees them, especially the least, the last, the lost, and the lonely, and take tangible steps to love our neighbors well.
This page exists to help connect individuals and families to trusted resources for your immediate or temporary needs. Whether you are looking for support, walking alongside someone who is, or simply wanting to know what help is available, our prayer is that these resources serve as a small expression of God’s big love for our city. We believe renewal does not just happen in church buildings. It happens in homes, neighborhoods, schools, and streets. This is one way we seek to love our city well, make room for one more, and participate with Jesus in the renewal of all things.
“If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.”
— Isiah 58:10
